Hockey Tarps

Are You Wearing the Right Gear?
A study conducted in the USA found that 27% of players that had been cut by a hockey skate were wearing neck guards. Over 26,000 players answered the survey and 485 answered that they had sustained a neck laceration injury from a skate. Of the 485 injured players 132 players were wearing neck guards at the time. There are 2 reasons that a neck guard can fail to protect a player.
1. Neck guards not covering the athletes entire neck.
2. Wearing the wrong neck guard for your level of play.
At Pucktive we design neck guards to cover the entire neck. Our integrated neck guards cover everything left exposed by the shoulder pads as well. Our wide range of size options cover athletes entire neck to ensure their necks are protected from skate cuts.
Pucktive offers three different cut resistant options. Our Elite line is hockey's most cut resistant apparel offering. It offers unmatched protection and will give your child the best protection possible. Our Pro line brings professional grade cut protection to players of all levels. We recommend players at U11 AA and above to consider upgrading there cut protection. Our Base line surpasses all standard hockey protective testing from youth to the pros.
